Cheryl Willard design Inc. debuted in the Columbia Valley, in Invermere, in 2002.
Over ten years have passed and we have been delighted at the opportunities that have come our way. While our principal business continues to be designing and drafting plans for seamless, tasteful renovations to existing homes and cabins that are “much loved” by our clients, we have also had fun designing barns, creative boathouses along the lakeshore, ski chalets, garages with quaint studios on top and inspired new homes in a broad price range.
We’ve worked with timber, stone, Galvalume, corrugated metal and lots of other natural materials, and most recently, steel- which we love! Our signature style is our clients’ style. We take our cue from our clients’ tastes and the architecture they envision. We are versatile. Our work is constantly changing. Open to suggestions? We are very excited about the new “Modern Mountain Alpine” look. We take inspiration from the architecture of the Pacific Northwest as well as ranch and ski homes in Colorado. We seek a look that is uniquely suited to our climate and compliments our breathtaking lake and mountain landscapes as backdrops.
While not an architect, we are architectural home designers with a lot of creative talent and considerable expertise. We specialize in working with new and recreational homeowners and those transitioning into full-time residency, as well as families with children. We’ve lived your life and we understand your needs.
